Find or arrange an IG meetup

The best way to find a local meetup is to search on Facebook or join a brilliant IG group on Facebook run by some really experienced admins for IG owners in the UK. Owners ask for advice on problems, share stories, photos and gripes, and look for recommnedations for IG gear. Visit a Championship Show near you

There are 22 Championship Shows up and down the country throughout the year that are well-attended by experienced and knowledgable IG folk – worth going even if you have no plans to show a dog! Tip up, watch the judging and then grab the exhibitors after judging has finished. Most are always happy to chat. The most famous show is obviously Crufts held at the NEC, Birmingham in March but shows take place all through the year all over the country: Italian Greyhound Show Listing.

Italian Greyhound Club events

The official breed Club runs two Open Shows and a Championship Show each year with the Club Committee in attendance plus heaps of Italian Greyhounds, owners and breeders. Discover Dogs at Crufts

At Crufts each year, Discover Dogs gives visitors to meeet every single dog breed recognise dby the Kennel Club in the UK – in cluding Italian Greyhounds!

The Italian Greyhound Club runs the Italian Greyhound stand through all four days of the show and it’s staffed by lots of volunteers and their IGs.
