Julie has always had a great love and passion for the welfare of all animals since a young age, and has rescued many animals over the years with varying degrees of physical and mental problems.
Julie currently has five rescue dogs, (two of which are Italian Greyhounds), 4 horses and 60 pet sheep. She also competes in carriage driving trials, dressage and show jumping with her horses. The Italian Greyhound breed holds a special place in her heart.
Julie was employed by BAE Systems for 40 years in the aerospace industry, working on Strikemaster, Jet Provost, Jaguar, Tornado, and Eurofighter military jets. She retired in June 2019 leaving her role as Senior Cockpit Moding Engineer on Eurofighter Typhoon.
Julie has pledged to offer any support she can to help rescue Italian Greyhounds and Italian Greyhound crossbreeds.
